Father Millott led the opening prayer with the parish council members joining him in the recitation
of the Nicene Creed and the Mission Statement. A change was made in the notes from the
November meeting and then they were accepted.

Father Millott

·         Will prioritize Temporal Administrators list of needs and bring to the Finance Committee.
·         The bulletin is going to be expanded by one column.
·         Stations of the Cross will be on Fridays at 7 pm.
·         Maryknoll Mission sent a letter asking if they could come to speak at a Mass. Father Millott
will decide if they should come.

Old Business

·         Parish Ministries Brochure-Deacon Joe will give an old brochure he has to Father Millott,
who has started working on more updating. Anita was asked to do some updating of the list of
ministries she has given Father Millott. Father Millott would like to add the history of the parish
and asked about adding parish staffing. It was discussed that the names were not originally
added to the brochure because staff changes.
There is a requirement of four pages for the brochure.

·         Parish Magnets-Parish picture with the church address and website, with the church name
in one color, rest of information in another color, on a different color background.  Planning on
getting 1000 printed

Father Riley

·         CYC retreat had about 50 kids. It was a tremendous success and a positive spiritual
experience.

Temporal Administrator

·         We have collected $64,000 towards the $87,000 needed to pay for the boilers.
·         We need new thermostats that will cast $10,000 to $15,000. Frozen valves are currently
being worked on.
·         The church gets warm at times, but it is not a good idea to turn the heat down when it gets
hot because it takes a long time for the heat to get back up once it is lowered. It is best to keep it
at a constant temperature.
·         Two companies gave identical bids of $155,000 to replace the folding walls in the church
hall.
·         Windows for the rectory will cost about $30,000 to $34,000 to replace. A lot of heat is
currently being wasted through the old windows.
·         The parking lot needs repairs at a cost of $75, 000 to $100,000
·         The fans in the church need to be cleaned at a cost of $2500.
·         The paint in the church is over 20 years old.
A proposal for kneelers was received three years ago for $12,000.
·         The parking lot was plowed appropriately but with the blowing of the snow, some places
got slippery. Deacon Joe will call for sand.

The Knights are going to continue providing this on the first Sunday of each month. Dennis will
