We the family of Christ the King Parish seek to be united in faith
and prayer, to worship God and to serve His people. We desire
to be active witnesses to God's presence among us, and we
dedicate ourselves to answer Christ's call to love and serve one
another in this ever-changing world. We seek to reach out to all,
inviting them to join in celebrating the Good News of Christ's
redeeming love. We, as Christ's family, accept our responsibility
and challenge to spread the Gospel of Jesus, to strengthen the
life of our community, and to minister to those in need.
Presented on the Feast of Christ the King, November 20, 1994

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Saturday 3:00-3:45 PM
The rite of Reconciliation is celebrated each Saturday afternoon in the
Confessional Room to the right of the front foyer of the church. At other
times arrangements may be made personally by calling the parish office
and asking for a priest to make an appointment. The communal Rite of
penance and reconciliation will be scheduled each Advent and Lenten
Season.
SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
An engaged couple should make marriage arrangements directly with the
parish priest. Please call the parish office to begin the process. A wedding
date may be chosen in person after meeting with the priest. All marriage
preparation should begin a minimum of one year prior to the anticipated
wedding day. This is Diocesan Policy and practical procedure to plan well
the marriage, do the necessary paper work and prepare the wedding
ceremony details.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Baptism is celebrated on the Second Sunday of the month at
12:30 PM. Please contact the priest to make arrangements.
SACRAMENTAL AND PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK
The spiritual and corporal works of mercy remain at the foundation of all
Catholic life and parish ministry. Anyone who is sick, dying, homebound,
or aged is entitled to this pastoral care. If you would like to receive any of
the sacraments (Penance, Anointing of the Sick or Holy Communion) or
merely have a visit, please call the parish office. A parish visitor, deacon,
or priest will return your call depending upon what needs and desires you
have expressed. It is good family practice to never delay visits for the sick
or dying family members. Care for them and allow the church to minister
with them when it is most meaningful and beneficial spiritually,
emotionally, and physically.
ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS MEETINGS
AA meets 7:00PM to 8:30PM each Tuesday and 7:30PM to 8:30PM Friday
evening in the meeting room on the lower level of the rectory which is
accessible through the side door of the garages.
