From time to time there may be important commentary from our pastor or from the
chancery that he will want to share with our entire parish. Please return here again
at a later date.
FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK:
Ordinary time begins and runs until Ash Wednesday
and the Lenten Season. There is nothing ordinary
about it, however. The gifts of Christmas: the
Incarnation, the Epiphany, and the Baptism of the Lord
are being lived and giving meaning to your life and
mine as we trundle through the cold and dark days of
winter. Each day begins to lengthen and gradually the
sun will generate more warmth around us. We are
indeed blessed in nature and in life by our loving God.
I believe that what is ordinary at times is also
extra-ordinary. So I thank all the parishioners of Christ
the King for a wonderful experience of the celebration
of the Nativity of the Lord, a blessed time of joyful
greeting for Christmas and a very heartfelt warmth in
our Liturgies and common faith gatherings to
celebrate God with Us. With a grateful heart I thank
you and pray that each and all of us may be blessed by
God with the Grace and peace of His love in the year
2010.
