MINUTES OF PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING
April 5, 2005
1. Meeting was called to order by Father Foley.
2. Father Foley opened the meeting with a blessing and members joined
him in the Lord's prayer.
3. March secretary's report was approved.
4. Present: Father Foley, Anita Fenton, Paul Franco, Anne Hicks, Carol
Bertel, and Kathy Johnson.
5. Pastor's Report: Dark blue robes are being purchased for the choir.
John Anderson is working up a proposal to landscape the walkway
going into the rectory. There will be a 1 ½ - 2 foot wide bed for plants
and white stone to match the brick. The church foyer roof has been
patched and has not leaked. The permanent repair will be done now
rather than wait for a problem since we have the money. All the projects
around the church have pretty much been completed. Father is looking
into having the floors in the church hall done professionally
- washing, stripping, and covered with a sealing finish.
Father will talk on Partners in Charity on April 23rd and 24th .
Envelopes will be in the pews for return immediately or brought home
and returned later. The collections will continue for two weeks.
Participation has been down in the past. Hopefully this year, past
donors will participate. Budgets have been slashed all around,
donations are truly needed.
Deacon Joe will be celebrating 25 years as a deacon in May.
6. Temporal Administrator's Report: None
7. Old Business ; More people are needed for the parish council.
Interested parishioners should talk to Father.
8. New Business: Ministries should have a representative at parish
council meetings. A letter will be drafted and sent to each ministry.

months) at 7:30 p.m.
The Boy Scouts will be going to West Point, and they have some extra
room on the bus.
The Confirmation class is way down from years past. Confirmation was
held Monday.
Al-Anon has asked to use a room at Christ the King, but because of the
size of the group we are unable to accommodate them.
Training session for lectors and eucharistic ministers will be soon. Let
Father know if you are interested. We also need altar servers.
